All you need is AC power and a phone line. No expensive installation, or “free” installation that locks you into monthly monitoring fees for years. With the Sensaphone400, you own it and pay no monthly central station monitoring fees - ever! We have one installed in our offices as a security system, and it has performed flawlessly for over 2 years. It even detected the low battery “beep” of our smoke detector. The small base unit measures 71/2” W, 2” H, 81/2” D and mounts anywhere. Plug in to any standard AC outlet and connect to your existing phone line - no dedicated line required. The Sensaphone 400 has a built-in ability to monitor for power failures and to listen to the sound of a smoke detector. There are also four external inputs that can be connected to a variety of sensors to monitor temperature, water on the floor, humidity, and much more. (see below) One of the four external inputs already comes with a temperature sensor installed for monitoring temperature where the Sensaphone 400 is installed. Also included is a sound monitor that activates the Sensaphone 400 when a loud noise occurs, such as breaking glass or a screaming smoke detector.

Through simple programming on the built-in keypad, you can set temperature high/low limits, phone numbers to call, and test the systems functionality or to set pass codes for family members to use.

When an alarm is detected, the Sensaphone 400 can auto dial up to four phone numbers you set and provides voice s of the alarm conditions. Call your cell, your home phone, or any other phone number. If you’re not there, the Sensaphone 400 will continue to make phone calls to each number until someone responds to the call. Call it back and listen for voices, suspicious sounds, and then contact the authorities to respond - even if you’re on vacation a thousand miles away! The voice messages can be custom recorded, so you get to describe each alarm message that it speaks in your own voice. The phone interface includes a line seize feature so that extension phones are automatically disconnected when it needs to make an alarm phone call. In addition, you can call it from anywhere to check status of all settings, power failure, and temperature at the location, or to just “listen in” to the area near the Sensaphone 400. No more false alarm surcharges. Try that with a “professional” alarm system. And the built in battery backup keeps the Sensaphone 400 running should power be cut.

A built-in output relay is provided to switch an external device either automatically or manually. You can use it to have a floodlight or siren trip when an alarm occurs, or even to set off a local alarm when the phone line is cut or unplugged. You can even use it to control a dual setback thermostat to change the temperature remotely, so the vacation cabin is warm (or cool) when you arrive. Also includes nonvolatile program memory and a 24-hour battery backup using standard “C” cell batteries. Easy to follow setup guide included.
